Brandon Karolevitz, President
Growing up in rural Minnesota and being the son of two hard-working parents, I learned at an early age the meaning of an honest day’s work. After graduating from college, I started a career in the corporate space, then moved on to construction management while living in the Twin Cities. I enjoyed the work and aimed to be successful but always felt something was missing.
I moved to northern Minnesota with my wife Terri to pursue a career in residential construction and have never looked back. I had the amazing privilege to work for talented professionals in the trade, which led me to my current position as President and Partner of 2B North Builders.
Each day, I try to bring the same mindset I learned as a kid to our business. Our clients work hard and we want to equal that effort by bringing them the quality and honesty they deserve when they trust us with their project.

I was born in Edmunds, Washington but grew up living in both states of WA and MN. I started my first job working for my uncle’s construction company and learned at a young age the meaning of hard work. The early mornings, long days, and my uncle’s sternness as ‘The Boss’ helped shape who I am today. Under his wing, I developed carpentry skills, discipline, cooperation, reliability, and dedication.
I have two children—a son and a daughter. For 13 years, I worked for a local construction company as a framer and foreman. I had the opportunity to build many homes while also building relationships with clients and other contractors. I’ve always wanted to own a business, so I became a sub-contractor building homes for other contractors in the area. I hired a crew of hard workers and got to work immediately.
